1) Fire Prisms: The prism cannon can be fired focused or dispersed, if it fires dispersed it uses the large blast template. Does this shot count as ordnance (for the purposes of 2d6 penetration, etc) or is it just that the large blast is used and its not actually ordnance?
2) Striking Scorpions: Scorpions are armed with pistol, chain sword, mandiblaster, and plasma grenades. Their profile attack is 1. They get +1 attack for have two CC weapons (pistol/chain sword). The mandiblaster says a unit equipped with it receives +1 attack. So, do they get this +1 on top of the two CC weapons? So, they get 3 attacks (1 base, +1 two CC weapons, +1 mandiblaster)?
3) Plasma grenades: I'm sure this has to be in the books somewhere but I can't seem to find out how plasma grenades are like or unlike frag/krak/melta granades..help?
4) Warlocks: Not quite sure how they work in terms of being a member of a squad. One can have a squad of 3-10 warlocks for each farseer one has. How is it hat I get a warlock in a squad of say guardians so that they can benefit from his conceal warlock power, or whatever. Can the squad of warlocks be broken up and join different units? So if I take a squad of 3 warlocks with conceal can each warlock join a different squad? If so can they start the game broken up and already start as members of different squads? If they cannot be broken up then can then could all 3 of them join a single squad? Or do the 3 warlocks need to stay together the entire game. I don't see where this is explained in the codex and ask because I see lots of people post Eldar army lists and strategies on the forums as if a particular squad has a warlock in it.
I appreciate the help!

1) Unless a weapon has the word 'ordnance' in its characteristics profile, it isn't ordnance. If it does, it follows the rules for ordnance.
2) You got it, Scorpions effectively have 3 Attacks or 4 when they charge.
3) Plasma Grenades in 5th edition are essentially just 'offensive grenades' in that a unit charging through cover with them strikes at their normal Initiative value (instead of I1).
4) Warlocks can be taken as the Warlock unit found in the HQ section of the Eldar codex. They can also be taken as upgrades for certain units (Guardians), and where that is the case the unit specifically says how to do it (pay X points to include a Warlock). These two ways of taking Warlocks essentially have nothing to do with each other.

I appreciate the help! 1) Large Blast does not necessarily mean Ordnance. In this case, the "dispersed" shot is not Ordnance. 2) 2 CCWs & Mandiblasters do indeed stack, for a total of 3 attacks per model (standing still). 3) Plasma grenades are assault grenades; see p. 36 of the small rulebook (or check the Index on Grenades). 4) Squads which are allowed their own warlocks include him as an option in the Unit entry; this includes Guardians & Guardian Jetbikes. The Warlock HQ choice is not broken up in any way. *edit: Curses! I shouldn't have gotten up to get my rule book. Hi, Yak. How's things?

Hi ya SuperCow,
Nice to see another Eldar player. I'll try to help ya out where I can. Regrettably I don't have a Fire Prism so I don't know the rules for them right off the cuff, but if they were to fire as ordance it would be listed in the weapon profile. Similar to the Eldar Missle Launcher (EML), one has the Blast profile and one does not.
For the Striking Scorpians you have it right. They have to close combat weapons and the Mandiblaster.
Plasma Grenades are kind of weird in the new edition. All grenades fall into one of two kinds. I'm at work At the moment and can't list the pages in the BRD for them, but you could try the Glossary in the back under Grenades. I think that should get you close.
Warlocks are a weird one. They are actually in a number of different places. When you see that you can have a group of them (3-10) for every farseer that is what some call the Seer Council. That is a unit all on it's own, and follows all normal rules for units. Warlokc can also be bought as a unit upgrade model for guardians, wraithguard, and Heavy weapon teams. These Warloks are a part of the unit they are bought for.
Hope that kind of helps get your mind around the rules.
Zero
*EDIT* Wow I'm either really slow posting at work or you guys are super Ninjas. hehe.

1. It is not ordnance, it just uses the large blast marker.
2. Yes. 1 Base, +1 for 2 ccw (1 special - as it enhances their strength) and +1 for mandiblasters, giving them 3 (+charge where applicable).
3. Plasma grenades are assault grenades as per p36 of the rulebook. No penalty for initiative when charging units in cover.
4. Warlock unit is separate to the guardian/wraithguard squad upgrade. You can have 1 squad of warlocks per farseer, in addition to the ones for storm/defender/wraithguard squads.

1) Exactly what everybody else said
2) See previous posts
3) Just like frags. Or, frags now work like plasma grenades.
4) You still reading this?

Actually, one most question!
Under the Harlequin Troupe entry there is no option given to take a transport (wave serpent). Can I just buy the transport for a guardian squad for example and not start them off in the transport and just hop the harlequin's onboard the first turn?

Thanks to 5th edition, yes. (You could always transport them in a Falcon, but borrowing another unit's Waveserpent is new to 5th ed.)

Yep. One thing to bear in mind, a vehicle cannot move flat out on any turn that it embarks or disembarks passengers. So you would be limited to a 12" move plus star engines if you have them.

Ah ok, cool.
If I take a wave serpent for the guardians do they have to start off in the wave serpent and I'll unload them my first turn or can the guardian squad just start the game standing next to the wave serpent or whatever?

A unit does not have to start the game deployed into it's dedicated transport. They can be deployed on opposite ends of your deployment zone if you wish. Or you can even start one in Reserve and one on the table, totally up to you, or both in Reserve. When you place them both in Reserve, you declare at that time whether the unit is going to ride the transport into battle or walk on separate from the transport. If together, they come in on a single die roll for both units, if separate, separate die rolls.
