Got a Pegasus Knights box for intent on starting a Bretonnian army but now I'm thinking of continuing my Sons of Vergus army.
The army in question is obsessed with bikes (like the Ravenwing) the second company of the Sons of Vergus is dedicated to the Grand Cavalry of Vergus and I was thinking, since I still have left over Ravenwing bitz I was thinking of using the Pegasus as a mount for the master of the Grand Cavalry counting it as a Captain on a bike.
What would Dakka think of this and how do you think I could go about it? I was thinking using the robed rider legs and some Bretonnian bitz to give it the Knightly theme and cut away some of the pegasus' hide and greenstuff in some hydraulics and the such under the skin.
Anyway, love some opinions, thanks in advance
Ziggy

a robot shaped like a horse, which counts as a bike? Sounds cool to me, so long as your army fluff emphasises bike-like mobility and tactics rather than _literally_ bikes.
Were you planning on using the wings? I'd actually be tempted to keep them for something else - wings will make the robo-horse look less bike-like, and may lead to unnecessary game arguments re targetting etc.
The WHFB Engineer robohorse would be the easy option if you're rich, but I'm guessing you want to save money and use the Pegasus you already have. The WHFB horse is still worth looking at just to steal ideas from - merging organic bodies with robot bits is easy to do very badly...

i like the idea. an idea for something different, instead of using the feathered wings you could try and put some actual wings on it. like made from plasticard or take the small wings from a landspeeder. just a thought might look stupid might look cool. either way i love the idea

He doesn't need to be rich, it sounds like he's only making one, for his captain. So just get the robohorse, and stick the captain model on it, his legs are in a sorta horse-riding position anyway!
