Hey guys, I've got a question:
I got a 120 gig hard drvie for my XBox 360 for X-Mas and I was wondering if my old 20gig hard drive is still usuable.
I'm asking this because a friend of mine is considering buying a 360 and if the 20gig drive still works I could give him it and he could buy a XBox arcade and save some money.
Assuming that you have stock hard drives from Microsoft, you can freely swap them to test the 20G. As long as it boots to the typical splash screen and you have no red flashing lights on the console's, the hard drive should be good.

Yeah, I just did the exact same thing and gave my old 20GB drive to a buddy of mine. Works fine, and transferring the data to the new drive automatically wipes the old drive, so it's good to go.
