Hi all!

Over the last few days I've been wrestling with the daemon codex. It looks like a very fun army to play and I'd like to try it. At our FLGS we play a 1000pt tournament every three months, a perfect oppertunity to try out an army.

So far I've got:
2x3 Flamers (one with Bolt of Tzeentch)
4 Bloodcrushers
2x 10 Plaguebearers (both with Icon)

The PB are my objective holders and leave the difficult work to the Flamers and BC. This leaves me with 250 points. At this point I still need a HQ and some serious anti-tank.
I was thinking of adding the Bluescribes and a unit of 5 horrors with bolt and the changeling (Love his special rule and his fluff!)
Even with this is still think I'm lacking some reliable anti-tank especialy against Landraiders.

Or I can add a Bloodthirster or a LoC as they are both fast and strong enough to catch and destroy vehicles in CC and the LoC can take them on with some ranged attacks. I don't want a Slaanesh daemon leading an army with no other daemons of Slaanesh and the GUO is just to slow for tankhunting.

So what do you guys (or gals of course) think of this list? Is the 750pt core any good? Or have I started off wrong or will it work the way I think? And what would you do with the last 250pts?

(And sorry for my English. I'm not a native English speaker and it has been a long time since I posted on an English forum or spoke English.)

your English is fine. But this is not a list. Put it into list format and we can help. But I would go with the bloodthirster.

I'm not sure this is the list format you meant but this list is more of a list than the previous one.
I also made some changes to my list, it looks like this now:

HQ
Bloodthirster (250)

Elites
2x3 Flamers (2x105)
4 Bloodcrushers (160)

Troops
2x7 Plaguebearers (both with Icon) (2x130)
6 Horrors (Changeling and BoT) (116)

Total: 996

For a 1000 pt game. I would drop one unit of flamers.

Spend 40 points to upgrade the bloodcrushers with full wargear (icon/fury/instrument) for casualty removal fun and games, and spend 20 points to give the thirster unholy might (so that in subsequent rounds of combat and if he's charged, he's still S8 and can insta-kill T4 characters).

That leaves you with 65 points. Lots of things you can do:
1) 4 more horrors
2) Drop the Changeling for 2 more flamers
3)Drop one of the icons, consolidate the plaguebearers into a squad of 14, and change the horrors into 2 squads of 5 with bolt.
