Opinion time...

1. If a Librarian in terminator armor is joined with a squad of Legion of the Damned before deployment from reserves, does the LotD's Aid Unlooked For rule still work?

2. If the squad retains their Aid Unlooked for rule as seen in Question 1, does it apply for when the librarian uses Gate of Infinity?

I would say no, because it is a unit special rule that does not say they give it to anyone. Rules for ICs prevent them from gaining the special rules from other units. But you can still DS, but not re-roll scatter IMO.

I would say yes.
