Give us some sort of reference here, like 1hadhq said there are a lot of different Blood Angel shoulderpads with blood drops on them, ranging through their different companies.
Generally they are black, but that is not a hard and fast rule by any means.

until you get moved into death company .
6th co and up follow in colors the first 5 co but get a second drop.

5ft: 1 black drop

sorry for the delay, I just got back to the computer. I'm not sure which company. I have one of the metal shoulder pads from the GW site and it has one drop on it.
Thanks for listing the companies for me. I'm making a Death Watch chapter and I was just trying to make sure I put the right color in. I think I'll do a yellow drop.
