...for my upcoming army

After reading Legion again, I decided to do a bunch of these guys as a new army. Here are pics of the captain:




The white dots all over the armour are intentional, it's the modelling snow

I do think you should try to kind of highlight the green symbols on the armour some more, its quite hard to see them.

Brutal. I love models with good OSL, and this one is great! I also love the shells from the bolter. It makes a rad effect.

That backpack is pretty cool. Is that from another model or a conversion/scratchjob? Looks like it could be a SoB piece, but I can't place it.

I like that model a lot, it looks very nice. The Alpha Legion has to be one of, if not my favorite of the Legions.

I love how you've painted the light from the sword reflecting off the armour.

Only quibble would be that the snow on the ground is not reflecting as well, but that would be hard to paint a green reflection off snow I think.

I'm not sure I like the firing from the gun, but the reflection of the flames and sword are very sweet, good model.

I really like the muzzle flash from the gun. The thighs look, from the pics anyways, a little fat but other then that it looks really good. I really dig when people make true scale marines. people forget just how massive they really are. We should make some truescale Orks
