Would be much appreciated!

Use a Saw and cut the lord by mid torso ,
pin it onto the plastic destroyer ,
green stuff the rest of the cape and make it flow.

0.o something like that?

There IS a destroyer lord kit that is out.

Or did you mean the current lord model to a destroyer lord?

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I suggest the possibility of converting a Destroyer into a Destroyer Lord.

My team and I converted several Necron Lords using a bit of platicard, several Ordinary Necrons, a Destroyer, Chaos Space Marine shoulder pads and Tau Stealth Suit legs. A bit expensive but if you only need 1 not to bad.

Good luck, perhaps you might like this:

Hey thanks, its 2007, but we were pretty happy with those. I always figured a destroyer LORD, ought to look T6 ya know? Instead of being spindly.

Wow, thats an incredible conversion.

Although i dont think i shall be acheiving anything near that, i think sawing a lord in half followed by green-stuffing him up and attatching him to a platform will be sustantial.

Well... the one question is... why? The Destroyer Lord that GW provides is less expensive then taking a normal destroyer and sticking a normal lord on, and is an excellent model in its own right.

Ok, first, that conversion was Gawdlike.
Second, if you're lazy/poor like me, and you don't feel like buying specialized units, you use magnets and just make the system cooperate with each other. So when I want a warscythe, I can take one, and can attach a rez orb, or, if I'm turboing into CC, I simply don't include one.

My group suffered from severe cases of "proxy-itus" where NOTHING was EVER shown on the models. We invested in some 'rare earth magnets' from MiniWarGaming (awful site, btw, shipping took 3 weeks though we're only 1000 miles apart.) and now the problem is solved.

But the conversion still looks cooler when Augustus did it :/

EDIT: Oh, and the point of the post was to affirm that if you did cut a model, through the shiny use of magnets you could still be able to field a D Lord as well as a S Lord (for spindley, as Aug said).

Still, you're giving up a perfectly good destroyer and necron lord, when both can be fielded at the same time as a destroyer lord, and be very helpful in the army.

But, maybe that's just me.
