ok I have recently started playing warhammer fantasy and my dad gave me a bunch of his old warriors of chaos models. He also has 100k points of orcs and goblins. (he's been playing since the game came out) I was wanting to buy a boxed set of chaos warriors and put spikes on their sheilds and put goblins impaled on their sheilds' spikes. I know how to get the spikes on there but I was wanting to know if anyone had any advice on how to get the gobins impaled on the sheilds.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thank you

You could drill holes in the goblins, slide them onto the spikes and gs the gaps.

I would probally drill a hole through the part of the body you want to impale them on. Then I would cut the spear, and put the top part on the top of the wound after glueing the bottom spear through the bottom half of the wound.

I'd drill completely through the head and shield (probably through an eye socket), run a piece of brass rod through the whole thing, and stick a spikey point on the end of the rod.
For that added bit o' realism, grind down the end of the tube into a point instead of gluing a plastic point on the end. Surprise self-impalement!

I would probably not mount the full body of the goblin on the shield. Instead I would mount the spike, then glue just the decapitated head of the goblin just below the spike. Next take a bit of twine and make it look like the head is tied to the spike. This way it looks more like trophies and not just some goblin road kill stuck to a board.

blue loki:
I like the idea I'll have to do that to 1 of them, ask my dad what he thinks, and see if he is dumb enough to press on the spikes
chaos dave:
I was wanting the warriors to look like they had recently impaled them on their sheilds and haven't had the time to take them off.
Also my mom plays skaven and my brother plays dwarves, my cousin plays lizard men so I'll have a unit of chaos warriors for each one.
As I said before I'll post some pictures of them after I've got them done it may be a while though because I have so much school work to do.
Thank you for all your help.
