First question is do you have the rulebook and the Dark Angels codex? If you have neither or only one of these, your first task is to get them!!

You are limited by the rules to what you can take in your army, so make sure you have a good grasp of what is allowed before you start trying to pull a list together.

Dark Angels can be effective, especially the Deathwing list (where you can field terminators as a troop choice) but as been mentioned you do need to take Belial as an HQ choice to field them.
