I've got a question about Avatar of Death. If you take that as a power on a vampire are you allowed to then take magic armor. Now, your never allowed to take two kinds of magic armor but this isn't magic armor. Army Builder seems to think you can't do it but I can't find anything in the book that suggests you can't. Maybe I just haven't looked in the right place.

I do know the FAQ said you have to use the barded nightmare if you take dread knight. I don't know if this falls in the same category.

Army builder isnt perfect there are bugs in it like every program. You are allowed to take Avatar of Death as well as magic armour. Vampire powers (unless otherwise stated) have no baring on what magic item you can select.

Incidentally vampires are still allowed to take magic armour even if they dont take Avatar of Death or Dreadknight. The top of the armour section specifically says that they may. (cant find my army book so cant tell you exactly where it is or what it says)
