AD&D 1st Edition $30 per book: These hard-to-find books provide a fascinating glimpse at the early game and also provide a wealth of background material that carries over surprisingly well into the modern game. Some of these books have been known to go for $50 and more which isn't surprising considering their collector's value and the price of comparative modern manuals.

The Manual of the Planes ($30) details dozens of Planes from the D&D Realm. No volume since has gone into as much in-depth detail on these very alien realms.





Monster Manual: ($30) This is the first edition of the AD&D Monster Manual that started it all. With descriptions of Devils, Demons, Dragons, and much more, this book was controversial when first released both for its perceived occult nature as well as for various unclothed depictions of female beings. Hundreds of monsters, some never seen again in D&D.





Dieties and Demigods, 1st Edition ($30) : Another very famous and controversial book from the early days of D&D. Because this tome deals with gods and goddesses from many religions, (and depicts nude female figures) the book was later banned and reworked into a completely different format. This original often fetches high prices online and is rarer than many other first-run books. Includes information on Indian, Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Norse, and Demihuman Religious figures... and many more.

AD&D 2nd Edition $30 per book: The first major revision of the game. Full color volumes were the hallmark of this set. Almost as sought after as the first edition, these books fetch a decent price even today. Vets of the D&D game often consider 2nd edition to be the last version of the game that was true to Gygax's original vision. Source material in these books is surprisingly compatible with later versions of the game.

The Player's Guide ($30) : The final printing of this core book. All the information you need for the creation of 2nd Edition characters of all races and classes up to Level 20. Complete spell library included as well as all the rules a PC needs in D&D.





Tome of Magic ($30) : This 2nd Ed AD&D Manual provides hundreds more spells for the D&D game as well as a multitude of unique magic items to spicen up any D&D adventure.





The Complete Priest's Handbook ($30) : 2nd Edition, this book includes everything you need to define your priest, his/her powers, sphere of influence, and much more. Considered a must-have for 2nd edition Priest/Cleric/Druid Type Characters.

Paranoia (2nd Edition) $20: In this bizarre RPG comedy classic, you play a Troubleshooter in a futuristic world where the almighty Computer rules with a tyrannical fist. The Computer's main function is to root out all the Mutants, Communists, and Traitors. Just for fun, all Players get to play a Mutant, a Communist, or a Traitor. Every player is also unaware (at first) that all the other players are mutant commie traitors! Deadly? You bet! In Paranoia, the average player lives only 20 minutes before getting shot by a friend, loaded into a food processor, or simply being discovered traitoring by the Almighty Computer.
