I have caught the Neo-Sov bug recently so I'm doing a small IG unit using the Pig Iron Kolony Militia.

I though it would be nice to add some of the Copplestone Neo-Sov range, and replace their heads with Kolony gas mask heads, and use them as commandos.

Has anyone tried this?

I've heard the Copplestone figures are nearer true 25mm than 28mm heroic. Is that the case?

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies..

Since I just got my Neo-Soviets in the mail yesterday, I can assure you that they are standard 28mm heroic scale. They seem like they will mix well with my old metal guard, which is what I was most interested in. A plastic Cadian would be slightly taller, but should work ok.
