Subject: Vilmon or Senschal?

Hello, I am nearly done planing my army. Anyway, I have a Castignator, BoV, Dvout, chior of Menoth, Flamegaurd and Kreoss. Anyway, it is an army centered around keeping itself as a unit and trying to get BoV with LoS to the enemy warcaster who will be knocked down by Kreoss feat. It is also, however, built to be able to weather a fair amount of attrition, with all of the warjacks being immune to spells or range due to the choir and ward with the flamegaurd at Def 20 Arm 15 due to shield wall and blessing of Menoth. However, I feel that I should have a beatstick situated with the flame guard so they can stay in shield wall and control the center of the field for as long as possible. My debate is weather to get a Senschal, who can regain health, has a guaranteed two attacks and of course benifits from the flamegaurd dieing. He also costs four points less, and since my army is maxed out with him I would have to give up a flamegaurd to get Vilmon. Vilmon, however, is a stronger unit with a higher MAT a up to three attacks per turn. Since right now the main point of either of them is to total Cryx light warjacks who are trying to flank the extra inch and a half of reach and extra MAT add up to a lot. However, he can't heal, his armor is stuck at 15 (as opposed to going to 17 for a Senschal) and I have to move from 7 flamegaurds to 6 (with their UA.) Right now I'm leaning of taking Vilmon, but I could use some advice.
P.S. If you got through reading that whole thing and understanding it, congratulations!

They're both solid choices. If you had a Paladin in the list, Vilmon would be a no-brainer. I'd probably try it with Vilmon first, and then pick up a seneschal and see what you think.

Yeah, unfortunately I just don't have room for a paladin in my army or I wouldn't even be needing to ask this question, I might follow your suggestion though, they are both solid units that can find a place in any army.

I find Vilmon to be way too frail. Oooooo, he needs to be killed with a MAGIC attack!
*run bonejack*
*channel spell*
*boost hit*
Your average POW 12 direct damage spell [which every caster seems to have] really only needs to roll an 8 to kill Vilmon, which is only slightly above the average of 7. A caster that really wants him dead can boost the damage roll if they're feeling unlucky and "practically guarantee" his death [practically just because we all know too well how often 3 dice can roll under an 8].
This isn't even going into things that aren't actually attacks, blessed weapons, or Ayana and Holt ruining his day.
The seneschal is just as durable as Vilmon. Same armor, same defense - but wait! The Seneschal is very likely to have Armor 17, meaning he's actually tougher. Not only that, but the enemy has to make sure to kill him last, which can cause all kinds of headaches. Plus, on any turn Vilmon actually wants to do serious damage [aka, charges] he's going to lose Impervious Wall anyway. Granted I've had lots of fun casting Protection of Menoth on him, activating the wall and then running into melee for a Def 19.
Try out the Seneschal. If you don't like him, then you can drop a flameguard and add Vilmon. Honestly with the 3 jacks you have hitting power, so the Seneschal's utility might serve you better than the glass cannon that is Vilmon.

Ya, with all of the magic attacks out there now I would go for the senschal first. Vilmons cool but I wouldnt run him unless your going to take a few paladins to gain his benefits.
