hey guys, i've just recently started playing 40k again after taking 4th edition off (burned out on it like most of my old 40k club just in time for 4th edition). there seem to be alot more options now available for large armies due to the apocalypse book and the new superheavy plastic(s). how do the superheavies work now? are they just as fragile as regular vehicles or do they have some kind of "hitpoints" that you have to wear down before they are truly destroyed/immobilized/stunned/shaken? i'm not asking about specific models, just how the whole class in general works; the last time i played in a game with that kind of stuff, the VDR was still new-ish! i'm considering adding one of the baneblade variants to my cadian IG but i'd like to know if i'd be wasting the money/points.
