I'm pretty much finished collecting my Vampire Counts army for WHFB. I lack only some model assembly and painting. Now I'm to the screwing around with other options phase of my army. You know the one. It's where you continue to spend money on an army, even though you don't really need to, all because you don't want the chore of collecting another army.

Now for the part I want help with. I need a vampire lord on a zombie dragon. The only thing that comes to mind immediately is a Reaper dragon with some sort of heavy conversion for a lord to ride it. Since I'm not good at conversions I'll open it up to the floor. Anyone have any models riding a dragon that they like that aren't in the WHFB range of minis?

Isn't there that GW 'Zachrius the Everliving' or something vampie mounted on a zombie dragon. Not my favourite model but worth considering.

Yea that's the model I'm trying to stay away from. The dragons contorted pose just looks stupid for a zombie dragon. It's a product of older GW limitations on size and shipping for modeling.

You can try ebay for the earlier version (4th ed WHFB) Zombie dragon. I have it and I like it more than the Zacharius dragon.
