I have a splinter and it hurts a little. It is very annoying.

I can relate. However, try cutting a slice from your thumb that includes a quarter of the nail, that really hurts.

My graphic design class gave 4 writing assignments to be completed before tomorrow. It also gave one before the first class on the 13th. It has given five times what my creative writing class has asked for.





Also someone snuck a pile of used syringes and scorpions into my backpack then shook the hell out of it to agitate them. I didn't notice and went to grab my laptop.

My legs are sore from a run yesterday...

But I'd rather that than a splinter.

Cut it out?

It's not so hard to do, is it? I'm sure a fellow wargamer has cut his hands at least a few times on accident.

I dnno the pure definately of a splinter but...
my mom arranges flower, and sometimes she use wires
to tie , arrange the stems and such , and of course she uses wire cutters to cut the wires off.


The carpet in my house is really long so when i wear socks sometimes i like to slide on it like ice skating lol. But there was this long wire wedged intothe carpet and i didnt see it.

Before i knew it, i slide right into the wire, there it was 3 inches of wire that went from between my toes, into the my foot. I was freaked out, and i knew it would hurt alot later, so before the pain set in or i recover from the shock, i quickly yanked it out . Im so glad i did, i almost didnt feel any pain pulling it out , other then the digusting sensation of it sliding out of my flesh.

so pull it out! asap!

It's worse if you don't notice it until it gets infected. I got a splinter of pistachio in my throat once, and didn't figure out that was why I had a sore throat until almost a week later. I just thought I was getting a cold.

Today I spent almost four hours getting someone else's Blu Ray ODD to work, when I only allowed fifteen minutes in my day plan. It is also very hot.

...That would be terrible, especially considering that I'm highly allergic to pistachios.

I would probably die.

-I once crushed my fourth finger as a five-year old trying to weight lift.
-I got crushed between an automatic sliding gate the year after.
-I went overseas to my uncle's house and he gave me one of his vitamin tablets to swallow, i was too small and choked on it for nearly a hour whilst chugging down hot water.
-I once fell down and skinned me knee till the bone showed, still have the scar.
-I was capped for a month trying to download L4D back when i had a crap internet plan.

I was accidently shot in the knee with an air rifle when I was pretty young. As far as I knew, getting shot meant you died, so other than the physical scar (still got it!), that generally shook me pretty badly.

I'm watching entire industries on the brink of collapse. I feel like Nero fiddling when I should be loading up with canned goods and shotguns.

The kids are taking finals and I have to pee.

I can only take Holiday from my work when (if!) my part time colleague is in from Uni.

Oh joy.

My day so far has been rather pleasant. I woke up on time and had a nice warm shower. This was followed up with a bowl of my favorite cereal. Then I drove to work in very light traffic. After that my day has been light and stress free.

Hopefully tomorrow will be similar.

I have to go out and get the snail-mail, and it's zero degrees here! ZERO!!!

I assume that is zero degrees Fahrenheit, which is very cold!

my radio just broke
i have frost bite from being outside in the colorado -28 degrees below 0 with of a wind chill that makes it feel like -54 degrees below zero (thats feirenhiet (i misspelled that))
my internet is getting cut off this week end

My car died on me today. I had to wait 35 minutes to get a pick up. It was -5 degrees Fahrenheit. it was a fun wait.

I'm about to do psychiatric assessments on the psych patients in psychiatric emergency for the next 4 and a half hours.

I would rather have a splinter....
