Hi, 40k player trying to learn fantasy here, just got the paperback version of the rulebook to read through. I don't see a "force organization chart" anywhere? I hear terms like core, special, and lords, but I can't find anywhere telling me what's 0-1, 0-6, 0-3, limits on the different unit types.

Can anyone help a brother out with a page number, or what the "force organization chart" is called in fantasy?

There's a limit to how many core, special, rare and character choices you are allowed to take at different points limits.

The tables showing this information are included in each army book rather than the main rule book. This is because quite a few armies have unique options. Eg High Elves can have more of each option than other armies.

This: Usually it's right before the army list section that has the points value for each unit, IIRC.

yeah most are the same but for lizardmen @ under 2000 points its

max 3 heroes,
min 2 core
max 3 special
max 1 rare

at 2000 pts

max 4 heroes, 1 of which may be a lord
min 3 core
max 4 special
max 2 rare.

however dont skimp on core, core units are quite important!!
