Does it work well? Know any place where i can get it cheaper then £50? Is it worth it?

I personally didn't pick one up for two reasons: One, the expense: and two, poor wireless signal in my room.
As an alternative I might suggest something along the lines of the Devolo Homeplugs I picked up, that basically use your house's electrical mains supply to create a wired network. They worked out more expensive for me, but you can get them cheaper online and they've been pretty reliable thus far!

Are you talkin about the wireless adapter? I think it works quite well, but I don't play online that much.

If you want to go wireless with the 360, it's the only option. I tried for hours to get a "supported" third party wireless adapter working, including multiple calls to Microsoft support. I failed. On the bright side, the Microsoft brand version works perfectly.

Yeah, I got the Wireless Adapter as a present a year or so ago. It's nice, seeing as I didn't have to pay for it, but occasionally I get excruciatingly bad lag. This is due to (I believe) not the adapter, but the wireless phones I've got between the Adapter and my Home Hub.
Damnit.

"And what is wrong with their life? What on earth is less reprehensible than the life of the Levovs?"
- American Pastoral, Philip Roth
Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags. |

Mine has worked great, and I've had it for just over a year or so. The only problems I've had were ones that affected ALL my internet connections, so no fault of the adapter's.
