I stayed up late a week or so ago getting models ready for a tournament, and managed to Zap-a-gap my glue container solid twice! Lesson Learned: don't rush assembling models.
Also, Zap-a-gap burns when you have glue on your fingers!

i use a very runny superglue.
once when glue some resin terrain together it migrated, in a large amount, to where my figures where - this resulted in (minor) chemical burns to my fingers, my leg (including putting a hole in my jeans) and gluing the piece to the arm of my leather sofa!
beware superglue!

Ouch! I think the most annoying thing that happened to me was when I got my fingers stuck to the newly affixed Weird Boy head. I knew that once I pried my fingers off the model the head some coming with them. Metal models make me sad.

Not really a superglue/zapagap story, but when I base with Elmer's Glue I wipe off extra spill on the back of my hand. Then take a perverse pleasure in peeling it off at the end of the process after its build up like a second skin.

My first games day, at Chicago, I was sitting at the conversion contest table. I had a good idea and was all set to fix some pieces together. I look around and there is no glue aat my disposal. I flag over a kommando and say "Can I have some glue?". he says "we dont have any more plastic glue, just wait a bit and a bottle will free up." I say, "Do you have any super glue?" After a hesitation and concerned look, he brings over a bottle over super glue and we have that awkward moment where I try to take it and he doesnt let go. I look up at him, and he says in a very serious fashion, "Dont be THAT guy." THAT guy, refering to the above mentioned stories. So I promptly glue and arm to my finger and leave the table.

I'm sorry, but I have always associated TFG with someone who is a jerk in some fashion or another. Nearly every gamer I have ever met has had some superglue accident involving skin at some point. I hardly think it still qualifies as "THAT guy" when so many have done it.
