The upcoming plastic Ork Stompa looks very nice but the large expanse of skirt (kilt?) does beg the question (from a conversion point of view of course ) of what does a Stompa actually keep under it? Lots of engine gubbins? transport space for a couple of mobs? Huge ammo stores? Or perhaps a grot gambling den complete with bar and brothel?

Can anyone enlighten me?

If it's a Scottish stompa it's a kilt, not a skirt, and you don't want to get close enough to find out.

I must admit the idea of painting up a squad of Orks 'Braveheart' style with warpaint, kilts and tartan is quite appealing - if it wasn't taking so long to finish my normal orks...

The larger gargants have belly guns taking up a load of room, stompas don't tend to mount them though. One thought I had was that a war machine that big and slow is likely to get surround and might need some all-round fire coverage. Perhaps I should fit a mortar or something on the back - a 'butt cannon' if you will.

I can understand a fast-talking scot better than a drooling cockney. It's due to experience, of course. Slobbery British accents just make me sort of phase out and stop listening.
