I've just put up the latest updates to dakka and there a few notable changes...

As you've probably already noticed, your gallery images and article edits are linked from your user information next to every post, hopefully making it much easier for people to see your other contributions to dakka.

There have been a load of bug fixes. You can now skip to the first unread post from the recent threads page (now I think it is on every listing page). Thread necromancy warnings have been increased from being active on 3 month and older posts to 1 month and older posts for any forums which have them enabled.

The biggest changes have been to the gallery which got its first set of tweaks since we launched it last month:
Guest users will now have proper randomisation when viewing images. There will still be a lot of junk but it will filter out a little bit more every day. Dont forget that even you lurkers can vote, so get to it!
DCM users now have the turbovoting tool which they can read about in the DCM forum.
Managing your own galleries is now much easier, with proper renaming possible. You can tag every image in a gallery with the same tags as well to save time if you have a gallery full of related images. You can move your own images into a gallery from the search results page, so setting up your own galleries is now very quick and easy compared to the old way of doing it.
The copy-and-paste forum code listed under your images will now link through to the image page in the dakka gallery, allowing you to easily vote whore in your forum posts if you feel like it.

(oh and Prometheum5, your zooming bug was squashed as well, thanks for reporting).
