A few months ago, the GBP was about 2 £ to 1 $... now its around 1.47£ to 1$

Which means, Where the Vulture used to cost around 125$ or so + shipping, it is now 98$...

Which means, I'm at a dilemma.

I just bought two guardsmen boxes for 26 USD a piece... more than 20% off. I already have 180 guardsmen, this would send me to 220 guardsmen. Approximately. I have 10 leman russ, 3 basilisk, 4 chimera, 1 hell-hound.

If I take back those Guardsmen and sell some up-coming eBay stuff, in addition to 140$ I just recently acquired off eBay sales....

In short, ForgeWorld is cheaper for US citizens right now than it has been for a while... do I want 40 more guardsmen, or do I want some forgeworld back up? Say 3 heavy mortars, or a Macharius, or something else that isn't easy to scratch build?

3X Heavy Mortars (22$ a piece, 66$ for 3)
3X Quad Cannons (26$ a piece, 78$ for 3)
1x Malcador of some sort (92$)
1 or 2 FW Lemans (40$ a tank people! That is plastic price then you add shipping fee.)
1x Hydra (57$)
1x Vulture (98$) - Hesitant on this one. I had a Valk, it never served me well...
Or: More Vrakian Chaos Renegades to add to my 35... I do need an HQ...

I run chaos IG, and I use lots of inf and lots of tanks... perhaps some accessories to add to my tanks rather than whole new units? Support units? I have a budget of around 150$, I don't wanna spend more then that... and IMHO: Super Heavies, asides Malcador's heavy bolter spam, are waste of money and points.

I would go with the Malcador. From personal opinion I could make a hydra, convert a Vulture from the upcoming Plastic Valk hopefully, and the Heavy Artillery has no appeal for me, and FW LRBT just dont appeal to me as I just buy the turrets and convert the body of the tank myself. So go with the cool looking Malcador.

Unless you've got a serious love of some IG model from FW, I'd just wait. Plastic Valk, plastic Stormsword, and the first wave of plastic IG releases from GW are all due out in the next four months or so.

I wish you hadn't brought up the exchange rate. I had convinced myself FW was just too expensive to consider.
