Not much to say, my army is starting to come along nicely.

So far the following are painted:

2 Necron Lords
80 Necron Warriors
10 Scarab Swarms
10 Destroyers

And to be painted:

40 Necron Warriors
30 Immortals
10 Scarab Swarms
5 Destroyers
3 Monoliths
2 Heavy Destroyers

And to be purchased:

Necron Lord with Destroyer body
4 Heavy Destroyers

Here's the painted stuff

Lords

Their capes are a very deep purple, and I just realized that it doesn't show up in the picture at all.

Scarabs

Warriors (this isn't all of them. I didn't feel like pulling all 80 out of my case.)

And Destroyers

Yes, they're not perfect. But I really like the paint scheme and I think the work is decent. I'll be adding more as they're finished. Immortals should be up soon.

And yes, I know they look like Stormtroopers. Not my intention as I haven't seen a single Star Wars movie in my life.

Thanks for looking.

Lovely army - I love white necrons. Have you thought of starting an Army Profile in the Articles system on Dakka? It would mean the army stays around instead of disappearing like posts tend to do...

Hold on - I missed the important something - you've never seen a star wars movie? Ever? Go! GO now and watch at least the first three. Hell, no, ALL of them. Go! GO!

Agreed. Be sure to watch them in theatrical release order! (4,5,6,1,2,3)

Standing right behind you...

Needs some black around the eye holes.
The white's a little too...perfect for them. I'd expect this sort of thing from Tau but Necrons can't be THAT clean, what they have scrubber scarabs? It's a nice paintjob though, i'd like it under other circumstances.
Maybe add some metal or add a wash?

Very nice job, although the white looks a little thick. Have you ever though about starting from a white basecoat?
Either way, really nice job. I love the contrast between the green weapons and the white bodies.

Yeah, the white on the Warriors and Lords is a little thicker than I would prefer, but it is much thinner and smoother on the Destroyers.
