Just curious who all comes to the Historicon here P.A. (one of the World's largest gaming conventions)and what you people think about it. What are some of the coolest game you've seen there?

I really want to go though. I've heard it's awesome, especially if you are into historicals.

Yah, it's wicked awesome, and not just if your into historical stuff too. They have a huge flea market where you can get awesome deals for all sorts of minis. It's also very fun trying out new game stystems.

U might be surprised how far people go to come to the Historicon, there are people from different continents, We actually have some friends in Amsterdam who come over for it.

Sounds fun but it probably costs to much for me at the moment, impulse buying an entire kiosk is what would probably result from my going...

It's actually not too pricey, especially compared to all the savings you make if you're there to buy minis and stuff. I got a killcan for like 7 bucks there, and it was in pretty good condition. I also got a Warboss for 5 bucks.

I have gone a few times. Between Historicon and Cold Wars there is a lot of good historical gaming to be had in Lancaster, of all places.

Cold Wars seems to be down with the fantasy/scifi gaming a bit more. Both are fun events, and there are often plenty of nearby hotels to stay in on the cheap.

We ought to have a little Dakka meeting there this year.

You mean like set up a game? Like a big game? Then we have people bring terrain or something for a certain theme and pick the best stuff. or maybe pick people before hand through here? I dunno
