Hi folks,

I was wondering about the point cost of the Black Reach standard SM Dreadnought (MultiMelta, CC weapon and Stormbolter). Reading the SM 5th edition codex I think it is 105 points. But the guys in the White dwarf (forgot the number, 152?, the one with the plastic termie and Nob) had them with point cost 115.

What is correct?

I used to collect WarZone and Void minis but have sold them off after my first look at the Black Reach box.

Not really supposed to post stuff like that...

Codex trumps all. Remember that.

Codex. WD is often not accurate (for various reasons).

Dreadnought (Multi Melta, CCW w/ Storm Bolter) - 105
Dreadnought (Multi Melta, CCW w/ Heavy Flamer) - 115

Codex is the first source. Then FAQ's.
WD is just a magazine. Nothing else.

I don't quite understand. Is it not allowed to ask?

Well, asking questions about which points costs are right are ok, I guess, but you're not really supposed to post individual points costs with wargear. Just saying Sternguard w/combimeltas=300 pts. is ok, but really specific stuff is IP.

Oh, ok, sorry. Maybe the thread can be deleted, then.
