Sorry if this has been covered before. In the SM Codex, the Legion of the Damned's special rule Unyielding Specters says "Their saving throw is invulnerable". Does this mean Psy-weapons, such as Psybolts and Psycannons and other weapons which ignore Invulnerable saves allow the LotD no saves at all?

Moz:
You: "Hold on, you rammed, that's not a tank shock"
Me: "Ok so what is a ram, lets look at the rules."
Rulebook: "A ram is a special kind of tank shock"
You: "So it's a tank shock until it hits a vehicle, and then it's a ram, not a tank shock, and then it goes back to being a tank shock later!"
Me: "Yeah it doesn't really say any of that in here, how about we just play by what's written in here?" |

It seems RAW-ish enough for them to get no save.

gay isn't it. In friendly games, I would not be a prick and pull that. But in a tournament type environment, this would be the case sadly.

I don't think there's anything prick about it.
LotD are ethereal creatures and they have an invulnerable save because of it.
Psycannons or the few other things that ignore invulnerable saves should mess them up and they do!

Yay, and psycannons used to be read to not give cover saves either, until it was FAQ to be more clear. My point is that they are obviously wearing the armor they are supposed to have. Just the rules (as usual) are not as all encompassing as many people would like them to be.
EDIT: However, normally GW is pretty good at listing wargear appropriately even in case of armor. And no such listing is made for power armor, so this may very well be intentional, again pretty gay considering the price of the unit.

Considering their price? What other infantry unit can move and shoot a lascannon? And they get an invul save? I think their price is justified.

Yea, I gotta say, if you don't think a 3+ Inv. save is scary, you are not playing Sisters enough.
Besides, how often are you really bumping up against psycannons?

Apparently not.

Is 'Gav Thorpe' still acceptable?
Seriously, yeah, there's no need to use 'gay' as pejorative.
Also the LotD have an Invulnerable save. Psycannon rules state they ignore Invulnerable saves. What is the issue here? This is about as clear as GW rule writing gets.
