Well, I got my forst two league games in. Thanks to all of the members who helped me on it.
Forgive me for not knwing the names of the opponents vehicles, I am still learning the orkses...
Elimination dawn of war was rolled.

He had a rhino transport with a librarian and a squad in it, a squad with a few snipers and a template weapon (bazookaish), and a standard SM squad. We had a fort on the board from an apocalypse game and he won the roll and put the squad with snipers in it. He put the rhino in a position to rush and disembark the sqad and put his third squad back behind cover.

I had to start with my kan and lt the edge, and I put 20 shootas by the castle in sight of his squad and 20 shootas forward behind cover to jump the sqad the rhino dumped.
First roun he rolled crap and couldn't shoot anything. Moved and it was on me.
I rolled sweet with my shootas and rolled 29 hits and 19 wounds on his sniper squad. It was amazing. He had the bazookaish boy left. I rolled poorly with the lootas and couldn't shoot anything, and my other boys did the same. Moved the can towards the rhino behind cover.

Turn 2 he moves the rhino and shoots my front squad. I lost 1 ork. His bazooka boy dropped a template and I lost 1 to that. Fabulous saves.
My turn I hammered his rhino with the kmb and disabled it. I finished bazooka boy and moved towards the rhino. I missed with hthe kmb and moved the can closer as well.

Turn 3 he disembarks and charges my kan. No problems from that but and rolled 1s on the counter.
My turn I shoot up is rear squad with looas and the front shootas. 2 casualties. I move my other towards the last squad and run. I rolls miss with the kan.

Turn 4 his back guys get 1 of my front orks. The librarian destroys my dccw.
I get closer with the second shota squad and drop 2 more marins with the front.

Turn 5 he misses the dread and his back guys get 1 more shoota.
I kill one of his marines with the kan and 1 more of his back guys with my shootas. My second squad, due to terrain, ends up 1" short of assaulting the librarians squad.

We roll and the game ends. I won with the 1 kill point. He was gone the next round anyway...

When I was packing up, I was challenged by a fella beneath me. He was running csm with 2 squads of plague marines in rhinoss and a demon (dunno the name) with psionic nastiness.
I popped a transport the first round. That was all I did the whole game. The demon ate my shootas. Period. He rolled 5s and 6's and I rolled 1s and 2s.

I COULD have won with a few good rolls. On turn 4 I had a 20 squad of shootas 8" from his plague marins (who were assaulting my second squad with the demon. I killed all but 1 marine, but I couldn't put the 4th wound on the demon. Had he missed one of those saves, it would have been over. He made them, and was was over, but in a different way. :(
Oh well, 1-1 in my forst two league games. I'm ok with that.
