Its close to my bday, and i have been thinking of getting some completely different stuff ,
but some of them require orders of generally $200 or up so i can only pick the following choices...

1) Computer ( mine is old hand me down from my cousin, no idea the condition of it )
but i do know it needs more ram, better video card if i want to play any recent released games.
Cant decide between laptop or desktop , ( i managed to kill my mom's laptop some how...
internet on it doesnt work )

2) Paints , AT-43 stuff. As you know there is 50% off sale for AT43. i would like to buy some
for conversion + vallejo paints.

3) Warhammer stuff , lizardmen arrives close to my bday .

I cant pick and match these because they come from different shops and the S&H isnt worth it
if i order tiny amount seperately.

4) A girlfriend, because 670 posts in forty days and a creepy anime avatar mean you probably need one fairly badly.

I completely apologise if you have a girlfriend. Otherwise I'd go #1 and learn about computers while I'm at it. Will do you good.

If you're getting a new computer, just build it yourself. Saves you a lot of money, gets you better parts, and is really easy.

Also, unless you specifically need a laptop, always go for a desktop. They're less expensive, and you can actually change any part you want, meaning it'll last a lot longer.

anime and trolling aside, what would you think would be good in the long run? if your just using the computer for internet and school stuff (like i do) might as well go with figs.

Really hard to say lol, honestly we dont need good computers to type / print homework right >< if anything its for me to play games.
warhammer is game too, so they arnt necessities at all. Hence the dilema.

Everytime i tell myself to sell off some of my old stuff before getting new armies, but they keep piling up .
( new releases are hard to resist! )

Clear off the paint queue before buying more stuff unless you absolutely know that
the stuff you're buying is going to be assembled and painted right away. Buying just
to buy isn't really good (I know I do it, but do as I say, not as I do!)

By the same token, unless you have someone to play AT-43 with, hold off on that.

And unless you need some computer game or your computer melts down, hold off
on that.

i know, the weather is so messed up since winter , all my projects are been on hold. All i can do right now is repair / rebase some of the
2nd hand minis i bought for cheap. Its pretty frustrating how weirdly the previouse owner of these mini glue their stuff lol ( like skeletons...
the hip / legs are glued back wards.... , taking time out from gluing frustration to look at forum, and get trolled on forum . Not helping at all! xD

The purpose of Dakka is for polite discussion about wargaming, not as an outlet of irrelevant humour based on personal jibes at other members.

That kind of behaviour ultimately could lead to a suspension or ban, especially for users who have a history.
