I'm 37 years old and live in Alexandria, VA and I was wondering if there are any other adults in the area who wouldn't mind playing some friendly games with a rookie. I have nothing at all against younger players, I just thought it would be fun to meet some people my own age who share the urge to play with "little lead men".

Hello there. I have just recently moved to Arlington and am looking for opponents as well. What are you looking to play? I play mostly Fantasy (Skaven, Empire, Dark Elves, Vampire Counts, Orcs and Goblins), but do have an Imperial Guard army for 40K and a number of specialist games. I am an older player as well (36) and would enjoy getting to game against persons my own age too. Nothing against younger player as that is good fun as well, but nice to play against peers too.

Hello . I have been in the area for quite a few years now. I am now getting back into the hobby after a long time. I have a good amount of Chaos SM. I have not played fantasy, but could be persuaded to try. I am very interested in the specialist games and have a couple of them. I am close to your age (35), so I think it fantastic to find other older gamers.

Hey guys.. Wow, I posted this quite some time ago and had forgotten all about it. I have a son who lives in a different state and, sadly, I've found that I only play when he's around. This results in me forgetting most of the rules in between sessions and results in my being a perpetual "newb". Last time my son was around, we played at the new Games Workshop store at the Fair Oaks mall and had a really good time there. The environment was *very* laid back and the people there were exceptionally friendly. Anybody interested in showing up there for whatever they have going on at some time? If not that store, I'm open to other options and ideas.
