In a few days time will be playing a 1500 point tomb kings army with my empire. I have never played agaisnt tomb kings before so i ask you, the people of dakkadakka, to give me a few pointers on what to expect. So if you can mention any nasties, good tactics, what unit i should take/avoid etc would be most apprecated. I will also post my army list tomorrow, again help in changing it for the better would be great.

Well if he likes chariots, like most TK players any str 7 attacks will greatly help you and dont forget some good magic defense.

Carry some good magic defense (you'll want a lot of dispel scrolls) and make sure to get banners/other items that make your units immune to fear.

Cannons are your friends.

Just played the game today. Won by the skin of teeth today, had appalling luck all game (lost all my statetroops by turn 2) and some stupidly good luck (killed his tomb prince with a horse). Thanks for your help, the advice certainly helped.

Yes, at the end he only had 2 scarab swarms left. I only had a captain, a unit of inner circle knights and some handgunners
