I was thinking of taking this to comped tourneys. I have therefore tried too make the list low on what I think are "cheesy" units.

Please suggest improvements.

How do you think this will fare against ork hordes and tyranids who are generally good in close combat?

Are there any tricks a chaos mech player should know? When should I take first turn and when should I go second? Where should I put my objectives?

It's hard to really comment on comp tourney lists for CSMs. One side of you wants to imrpove the list, but the other side wants to make it 'fluffy' for comp.

This might work out better. A little Lash, but he finishes up the sacred number on the NMs. Pretty self explanitory.

YAAAY A COMMENT!

The comprules where I play don't go for "is it fluffy?" but much for "is it hard/boring to play against?".

The organisers are fully aware of that the fluff for chaos has changed and there is no bonus for taking sacred numbers unless the entire list is heavily themed (fluffy deathguard will be heavily punished even then).

What I am saying is the fluffiness is not necessery for the comp but the list-kindness is.

I appreciate that you wrote a list for me. How does it play?
