Like the title says, this is my first attempt at taking pics of my minis as well as painting them. I know the quality of the pics are somewhat lackluster, but they're from my wife's webcam so I know not to expect a medal. I do like how the minis turn out though with one small exception being their skin.. Anyone got any advice on how to get decent looking flesh tones using GW colors? C&C is welcomed but don't be too harsh, as this is the first time my painting techniques have branch out beyond dry brushing and inking.. Well, enough rambling, here's the pics

I like it, I'd love to play against those models. I'm trying to get the hang of highlighting myself and I think your attempt looks better than mine so far...

I used the ogryn flesh wash on both, one has elf flesh and the other has dwarf flesh for their skin tones. To me neither look particularly human..

Being that they only total 12 pts right now I doubt there would be much to the game So far I've found that pure patience, a steady hand and a fine brush are your best friends when it comes to highlighting.

The armor and rifles are Chaos Black with Fortress Grey highlights, while the tunics are Scab Red with Red Gore highlights brightened up with Blood Red and the trousers are Scorched Brown with Bestial Brown highlights.

Personally, I'd use a darker grey for the highlights. Right now, it's a little too much contrast. Drybrush a little bit of your original flesh + bleached bone over the washed flesh to bring out some of the highlights again.

Looks good, try using the edge of a flat brush for your line highlights, they are a little thick.
