Any one know any good add onz or units to deal with tanks on a daemon team

One of your main options for tank-busting lies in assaulting with Greater Daemons, since they are MCs. I don't know much about Daemons so I'm afraid that's all I can tell you for now lol.

Soulgrinders are one of the best ways to deal with tanks for Chaos Daemons. When I say Soulgrinders though, I do not mean that you should take Tongue on them. BS3 is horrible. They have a lot of DCCW attacks in close combat though, which are S10. Due to their very large footprint, multiple Soulgrinders are very hard to avoid combat with, even if the vehicles are Fast Skimmers.

Another great option is a Bloodthirster. Due to S7 (or perhaps even S8 if you take Unholy Might, which I'd recommend) and being a MC he will not have trouble penetrating any vehicle. As with all close combat attacks directed against vehicles though, hitting the vehicle may be though. Catching vehicles shouldn't be that hard, as a Bloodthirster has the Daemonic Flight ability.

Anyway, always remember that you will strike against rear AV of a vehicle when you are in close combat (except for Walkers), so against most tanks you will only need S5 to be able to penetrate (Bloodcrushers with their amount of S5 attacks come to mind).

If you don't like the idea of taking vehicles on in close combat you will need to field Heralds of Tzeentch with the Bolt of Tzeentch (preferably on a Chariot), or Tzeentch DP with the Bolt of Tzeentch.

I prefer the Soulgrinders though, as they not only bring S10 attacks to the table to help you out with anti-tank, you can also give them the Phlegm upgrade, which is great against hordes, something Chaos Daemons have trouble with as well. Remember though, Soulgrinders are an all or none deal. A single Soulgrinder will get killed very fast, as he will be your only vehicle on the field (all your opponents anti-tank weaponry will be pointed at it). Taking multiple Soulgrinders and dropping them in the same wave helps against this.

Daemons have plenty of options....like others have stated

Soul Grinders
Blood Crushers
Greater Daemons

All of these things will get the job done. What tanks in particular is giving you problems? Facing Necrons w/ the Monoliths?.....Facing Land raider spam?....Trukk boyz?

You flatter me. But really, I'm just an ordinary guy. I put my pants on the same way anybody else does: I put a gun to the head of my manservant and bark Russian military commands at him until the poor blighter either figures it out or watches his brains exit his forehead.

Work in progress:

Horrors w/ Bolt of Change could work too, but not as effectively as the other options listed above.

North of you!

screamers? don't they have something like meltabombs against tanks?
although ANY MC should be able to make short work of most tanks

I refute you're reality and substitute my own!

Yeah, Warpjaws makes them count as having Meltabombs. Probably more effective than Horrors w/Bolt because you get a fast delivery system with the Screamers too, being Jetbikes(?)

THIS IS VERY TRUE I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE LOST MY TANKS MANY TIMES WHEN I THE OPPONENT USED A BLOODTHIRSTER

Why are you multi posting useless information Has?

George, I would look into getting some screamers, they should be your main anti tank, they do really good damage.

I'd have to agree screamers are the best way to deal with because if they charge something with AV 10 they automatically glance as a fellow daemon player Im putting screamers in my 750 point army as theat will ake care of those annoying tanks like a vindicator in the small army or maybe even a dready but if your struggling with use flamers

How do you use screamers, in terms with having to deep-strike them? If you strike close, they will get opened up upon.. if you DS them further away a tank could move away and be out of your 18" threat range. Or is it MSU thing?

you use cover plus a bunch of flamers next to the main infantry as they have a template weapon that wounds on 4+ with no armour or cover save the opponent will freak out and go for them its an expensive tactic but you still wipe out there infantry and they waste a whole turn of their shooting trying to kill them

That's a good tip, I'll have to try that.

Thanks
