Thankfully, it looks like it's NOT the character beast because it's not pretty.

Is it just me, or does that stuff look like GWs products from 15+ years ago?

Similar is some designs, if not the same final model.

Well, they do have Mike McVey, formerly of GW. And after a while a lot of things in the industry tend to recycle, it's pretty incestuous when you think about it.

Personally, I don't see it, because GW's style was very much hunchback/hunched shoulders, and this guy is almost standing on tippy-toes.

This is the second Circle model to look like he's taking a dump, isn't it?

Seems like they're taking a page from the pooping Wood Elf Mage miniature.

mm, I don't think it is really a good fig to be honest...

it is the pose I guess, but it also looks like that is not going to be fixable with that model.. It's the boxing stance, just does not seem right...

It even has a championship belt. What a truly bizarre pose.

:(

At least it's not the character beast, C'mon WOLDWRATH!

On this thing though, I've got a soft spot for Satyrs, the Gnarlhorn is what made me start Circle. I may get this guy just because, but I dunno. I really don't like the pose.

Yeah the pose is really really bad, which is something that kills so many PP models. The Gnarlhorn is great, dunno how they could screw up a skinnier version so badly.

Its a Rock'em Sock'em Goat.

It would make a great character for the old Punch Out video game.
"Body blow! Body blow! Uppercut!"

You know he is a winner because he already has his Champion belt on.

Yeah, this is a disappointment, especially compared to the Satyr and the new Skorne dude.

The more I look at it, the more I wonder if some reposing/bending couldn't solve most of its problems?

With a different pose, it may actually look relatively nice nice.

The pose kind of reminds me of the Koshi omni mech which works fine for a giant walking tank, not so much for a creature that in it's profile the phrase "nimble athleticism" is used to describe its attributes.

If this thing has really good rules and is cheap (££) I may buy him and convert his legs. If not i won't.

Saying this thing is "just okay" is probably being overly generous, but I guess I'll say it.

I don't know why Privateer Press is so hit or miss, the Gnarlhorn is a great miniature. This one should be too, but it isn't. Far from it.

Really not liking it, but before final judgement, I'd like to see it from a different angle.

It just looks so flat from this one. Notice how the legs look like they're right next to each other, but the feet are on separate edges of the base. The pose may look very different when looking from the left.

Either way, I'll probably still buy it. Two models in an army that ignore slam and headbutt penalties is nasty.

The proportions are pretty bad. For a body of that girth, his head looks like a fatal case of ...whats the name? Hydroencephalitis? He looks like his head is several sizes too large.

There seem to be two ways to modify this guy.

First, give him a tee-shirt pulled over his head:
"I am the Great Goatholio! I need TP for my bunghole!"

Second, repose his arms downward into a "flexing" position and paint his belt a nice flashy gold.
"Oh Yeah! Snap into a Slim Jim!"

Sigh another Circle model I can live w/ out. I rather enjoy Cirlce but have to convert most of models because I can not stand the various poses they are in.

You flatter me. But really, I'm just an ordinary guy. I put my pants on the same way anybody else does: I put a gun to the head of my manservant and bark Russian military commands at him until the poor blighter either figures it out or watches his brains exit his forehead.

PP has not been on its game of late with the Hordes models.

Seriosuly, am I going crazy or am I right?

I wish they would fire whatever sculptor keeps making models like that. And the slag troll, and the ugly Skorne models, and eKreoss. And all the other circa-1990 GW rejects.

But then, I suppose not every model can be eGaspy or eNemo or the Dire Troll Mauler, or the Thunderhead, or even the classic awesome of the .Ironclad.

I 100% agree Scotty...there recent Horde models have simply not been impressive. Why is it if I want Trollblood Kriel Warriors that I need to order Cryxx models? Seriously those new Trolls for them are amazing...but nothing so hot for my beloved Trollbloods.

I feel you! I got Trollblood myself based on the sweet Dire Troll Mauler, and sold every other unit because I couldn't stand the rest of the army. Still have the mauler though.
