Neophyte Undergoing Surgeries

Hi I was wondering what the average point amount is for a tournament game? I’ve heard 1500 being about normal, I’ve also seen 500, and 1750.
Thanks

I think the average points value for 40k is actually a range:
1500-2000 points.
If you're asking so you have an idea as to how much you should collect for your army, I would have to say 2200 points is a good amount to aspire to. This gives you enough 'extra' points to be flexible, and vary up your list from time to time.

Thanks, I’m hoping to get an army around that size someday. I still have a too get a little more, be for I’m at 1500. Anyone know how many points the Grand Tournaments were running at least year, or even this year? I’ve not been able to find anything on their form, but I might have over looked it.

I do believe it's 1750, which is why a LOT of RTT's are at that level.
