So,

I have seen and used army builder, and several other programs. I have just gotten back into the hobby, and play 40K exclusively ( Nids, IG, chaos marines, Marines, Chaos guard and regular guard)

What is the best program to use for building lists? I plan on doing the GT's this year, Exterminatus, Adepticon, etc...and will need a professional looking list, even tho I plan on getting my butt kicked

thanks!!

Army Builder's the best dedicated gaming program, especially for 40K. but I still think Excel is the best overall program

Then openofice calc or some other spreadsheet program will do the same job. I have Office on both my computers (2003, not 2007) and OO on a flashdrive in its portable format, for when I"m forced to use a computer without any of it.

Though I do tend to use AB, I really should extract my digit and rewrite my excel macro that I did for my 3rd ed SM (all options and choices in drop down menus). It wasn't that hard to do, and proved to my course teacher that I was paying attention in class.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
