Splattered With Acrylic Paint

Jackson, MI

Hi!
I've been into GW's games in general for quite a few years. I mostly bought the starter sets just paint the minis and never really played.
I've met a bunch of veteran GW fanatics at my local gaming club. (The Battle Grounds in Jackson, MI)
It was only recently within the last year since I found out about a new hobby shop a short distance away (Planeswalker's Magic Bag in Munith, MI) that I've been bit by the wargaming bug.
The owner of PMB is an awesome guy. He really knows his stuff and has been schooling me in quite a few different games. He let me play HIS space marine army in a tournament and has even got my wife to start 40K by giving her a good deal on the Ork spearhead when it came out! We also own armies for Warmachine and Hordes. There are always guys there who are willing to play against "the new guy" and give a few tactics or painting tips. We're lucky enough to have a Golden Demon Winner who plays at the store-Mike Howell- he does really cool painting events sometimes!

I'm working on both a small space marine army and a small 'Nids army. I have enough Empire to table a decent force when I'm done with them too. I'm always up for learning a new game system (especially if it's a GW Specialist game!) I'm currently trying to decide what warband I should field for our upcoming Mordheim League. (I'm considering Empire because I own a ton of loose Empire bits and sprues!)

I just wanted to introduce myself to the community and let you guys know where I'm at and where I play.
If you're ever in the area stop by the shop and if I'm there with my stuff we'll game!
If you're close by and interested I'm trying to get a group together for a Dark Heresy group as well.

Thanks for reading...I hope you guys will take it easy on me because I'm new.
