Who can Shrike infiltrate with in the special infiltration phase of deployment before the game starts?
Can Shrike deploy with a bike squad and give them infiltration? How does this work Bike units as far as reserves and Shrike being assigned to it?
It seems like he can only infiltrate by himself or an unit that has the Ultra Marine Captain special rule in it?
How can Shrike be assigned to a unit without the infiltrate special rule?

It clearly says that he gives infiltrate to the squad he is with, and I think you can put characters with any squad in reserve now though I'm not 100% on that.
So that would mean you could put him where you want, outflanking assault marines or bike squad sounds like fun.

Hmm, if it doesn't say then I guess its anything (I dont have the new SM dex). However I have only ever seen him run w/tac squads, assult squads, terminators before....
To me it seems odd to infiltrate him with bikes...if you want outflanking bikes use Khan (he does that right?)
In regards to reserves, you can declair before the game that Strike (or any IC) is joining a unit in reserves (however he must arrive with that squad) since Strike can infiltrate he can outflank w/any squad he joins in reserves.

Shrike does not have the Infiltrate rule, he has the 'Seen but Stay Unseen' special which gives himself and any unit he joins the Infiltrate rule. So yes, he could infiltrate a bike squad. Seems a bit silly because they can turbo-boost halfway across the board and get a 3+ cover save at the same time. that bieng said, infiltrating 18" away from the opponent, then moving 12" and assaulting 6" means they are assaulting first turn.

Add on another 6" for fleet if you use his chapter tactics.

Fairly sweet. An infiltrating combat scout squad could provide the ablative-wound backup for shrike, assuming you dont bundle him into the same melee as the bikers.
Infiltrating sternguard.. sound fun?

Bike units cannot Run so may not gain any advantage from the fleet rules.

An IC can join with squads in reserve, so long as they are the same type (Power armor infantry, jump infin, bike, Terminator, ect.), so i don't think that he could join with a bike squad unless he was on a bike himself, at which case he could only join with Bike. Like wise he would need a jumppack of he were to go with assault marines.

This is a houserule, nothing to this effect exists in the rulebook

More specifically, an IC can join any other unit, but the unit moves at the speed of the slowest model. So if Shrike joins a squad of terminators, Shrike can only move 6" a turn as long as he's joined to the squad. If he's joined bikes, they can still move 12, but as mentioned bikes can't run, so neither can Shrike.
