Basic plan, the Rangers find one objective in cover, and sit on it. Eldrad can Fortune them and Guide the War Walkers if needed. The Harlies get into combat however they can, and waste whatever's left from the 18 EMLs. Light infantry is toasted by the Plasma Missiles, and heavy infantry get mauled by the Harlies.

It seems to be light on the troops, with only two you run the risk of not being able to complete in objective based games.

My objective is to secure one, and simply contest the others. I sort of reformed Stelek's concept from his TMC list wherein a single squad of WON Guants hold down one objective while the TMCs go and do work.

If things get too ugly, I can get my Harlies back to bail out my two units. Also, Cover and Fortune will help with survival.

I understand the theory, but a fast moving opponent could have the luxury of being able to pick off your troops and leave you in a position to only contest not claim objectives.

Whirlwinds will annhilate your troop choices. Two turns & both units could easilly be broken/fleeing or completely destroyed.

Stick the pathfinders on 2nd level (with a roof basically) buildings is there some thats AP5 ignore cover.

Troops are very weak. You have to spend alot of effort protecting them but with the Warwalker firebase..its doable.

Good compisition on the harlequins.

Think about guiding & fortuning the war-walker sqaudrens. a re-rollable 4+ cover save is quite tasty for a vehicle. Use them as blocking LOS terrain for the guardains. Only use the brightlance if theres a landraider on the field.. otherwise hide them as much as poss.

YMMV with those glasshammer harlequins. a 5++ save just doesnt stand up well to cheap low str attacks.. as it wounds easily on T3.
