Is there a compilation of plants and animals that exist in the 40K universe?
I was trying to develop some background for my Inquisition force.

no such luck. The most you will find is in the novels, like "death world".
If you check out the tyranid codex there is a blurb on catachen devils that was neat.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

Yeah, I did see it was in Fantasy....wrong nutter forum...oops...
What I meant to say was...I was trying to get some background for a group of knights for my Bretonnian army....yeah, that's it...
