Alright. Here is a game that me and a friend had, nothing complex, it was 2000pt, Annihilation, Spearhead Deployment

Here is a list of the stuff that happened, I typed up my turns (me being Necrons), and my friend typed up his (the Ultramarines). We made sure to get A LOT of pictures (We took them at the beginning of the game turn before anything happened), I will just post a couple for each turn, from a couple points of view, unless you guys REALLY want to see more, which I doubt...

Note:Anything not listed will mean that shots missed, didn't wound, or didn't fire at all. Also, we didn't list every little thing that happened, only the main things, the pictures show the rest.
Also, for the Ultramarines, anything listed as "killed" means failed a WBB roll the next turn.

Lastly, this is a WIP table, and some bad terrain, we also used some "counts as" and "proxies", so here is a quick list of what was what:
Assault Marines = Scouts
Black Partially Disassembled Immortals = Servitors (near the MotF)
Chaplain = Master of the Forge
Watchcase (with Razorback plate on it) = Rhino
Flayed Ones = Regular Marines
Black Bases = Dreadnoughts
CD-Case with Destroyer Box = Monolith

Army Lists:

Necrons:
2 x Necron Lords (Both with Res Orbs, one with Phylactery)
30 x Warriors
2 x Monoliths
3 x Heavy Destroyers
4 x Destroyers
1 x Deceiver *****(read later on)*****

Ultramarines:
1 x Chapter Captain (with Relic Blade and Artificier Armour)
1 x Master of the Forge (with power weapon)
3 x Tactical Squads (with plasma cannons, flamers, and Rhino Dedicated Transports)
2 x Scouts (5 models each, with Heavy Bolters)
4 x Dreadnoughts (with Multimeltas)
5 x Terminators (with cyclone launcher) + 1 x Land Raider (with Multimelta) as Dedicated Transport
2 x Servitors

Results

Ultramarines got 791 Victory Points
Necrons got 1339 Victory Points

BLOODCRUSHING VICTORY FOR THE NECRONS!!!

Okay, a couple things to talk about afterwards:

1.***** THE Deceiver: We hadn't noticed until the next game we played (later that night), that playing with the C'tan PLUS 2 lords meant 3 HQ choices, and therefore not legal by the FOC...obviously we had already played the game and no real harm was done, but it was worth mentioning.
2.OBVIOUSLY we are aware of all the counts as/proxied models, and of course the unpainted/unprimed one, so don't go ing at us about it

That is all for now...so, how do you guys think the battle went for us?

Maybe I'm just being slow .. but what's with the dreadnought/ninja stuff? Looked like a lot of fun and I LOVE the representation of the 'monolith destroyed' result!

oh, the ninja stuff was just my friend being an idiot, and how stupid dice rolls allowed a Dread with no arms to not only avoid shots, but kill other people WITH IT'S LEGS...

so exactly how does a dread with "No arms" as you say attack a monolith and destroy it? If the dread lost its DCCW its strength is reduced to 6 plus 1D6 at most is 12. So it can't touch a monolith....

But decent report otherwise.

Note: D+ can take over 12 hours of driving in Canada. It's no small task here.

GENERATION 5: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

no, it was a different dread with no arms (he had 4 in total)...the blue one with a DCCW killed the monolith...

(In some of the pictures, the dice ontop of vehicles/fake dreads represented Vehicle Damage results like immobilized or stunned, etc.)

heh looks a lot like the table my friends and i tend to play on, lots of improvised terrain and such. heres a tip for the price minded individual, a blank CD or two make good craters, and if you take a hobby knife and do it slowly so as not to break it, you can cut one into a less uniform shape. good game though. looked like a lot of fun also, you have some old legos in your attic like a friend of mine and I do, they make great walls adn other such terrain. we actually made a forest too, took a large green thin base board and used lego trees all over it in a rounded shape and counted the edge of the trees as the area terrain, not the entire lego board. And i'm sure if you look on ebay or amazon you could find a cheap large stock of plain lego blocks to make buildings. And don't feel bad about proxing stuff lol, until last night my entire tau army, except for a hammerhead, were space marines and paper in large armies, now only about half of it is, got 12 fire warriors a devilfish 3 stealth suits 2 crisis suits and about 6-7 drones i think for 45 bucks froma friend who bought the battleforce a long time ago. They're half painted but for that kind of a crazy deal i don't mind at all taking a toothbrush to them and re priming a light coat to repaint my color scheme

yeah the monolith had a very nice paint job. And just to comment my monolith refuses to die, the space marine player must of got a lot of lucky rolls a little like

yeah, well, the Monolith really only died because of a DCCW with like 3 attacks...and super lucky 5's and 6's...usually my monolith's don't even take damage, apart from the occasional shaken or stunned.

In turn 4 you indicated that the deceiver made one squad take a leadership test, then assaulted a different one. Can he do this? I was under the impression (perhaps mistaken), that since it happened during the shooting phase the deceive ability counted as a shooting attack, so would prevent him from assaulting a different unit.

You know, I never thought of that...I had always assumed it was just a power that could be used on whoever, but good point
