Sometimes, it can be hard to keep track of all the gaming events going on. It would be really cool if Dakka had a community-editable calendar where events could be posted (with appropriate tags, e.g., game system, location, etc., to allow filtering).

It is something that is way down the list. There has not been a single wargaming website that has used it successfully with the exception of bolter and chainsword briefly (but even theirs has fallen into vagueness now). If you must have one, I recommend starting an article for event listings until we get something up and running, but I have never seen evidence that it would get updated frequently enough to be worth building just yet.
