i wanted to start Orcs for fantasy but lost steam. i payed my ogres for the first time in over a year in a little warbands league at my LGS and mopped up. so the desire to run the ogres and NOT the lizardmen in a local RTT on the 21st has me interested in the fat bastards again. here is what i plan on taking:

im pretty happy with all that i fit into the list. i dont MSU ogres, so dont even start with it, i understand it is a valid tactic, but its just not how i like playing my ogres. figure i would use the rhinox unit and the tyrant as opposite end flankers since they are the fastest movers plus the heaviest hitters, and roll the rest up the center. little concerned about my magic defense (4 DD and 2 scrolls seems a lil low) but overall its ok with me. my normal tyrant setup is standardizer, mawseeker and jadelion but i wanted to change it up a bit, hopefully he doesnt totally fall on his face.

a friend of mine bought the thunderlord from forgeowrld but never got his ogres off the ground, so i bought it off of him cheap, the same year i bought 2 more at gameaday.

ive allways loved em, but army doesent pay enough to fork out on as many as i would like

i found its pretty cheap since GW sell the rhinox for £10, mix that with a unit of bulls and you pay around £13 (give or take) per rhinox rider.

still working out to this day how to make ironskin, since the iron rhinox could prove more than a challenge
