When I was in the US 2007 I bought some Abercromie and Fitch polos and t-shirts and loved them, so I bought more online last year, still great.

But since the economic crisis the OZ$ has plummeted and with massive international shipping A&F becomes an expensive option (RHUEL even more so).

So I was looking at Hollister yesterday online and at half price they seem to have similar styles and patterns.

Q1: Is Hollister really aimed at teens or do older people wear it?

Q2: What is the quality like (I'm assuming a bit of a hit compared to A&F)

Q3: What is the difference between classic fit and muscle fit? The muscle fit, fit me very well and I can't try them on before I buy them...

3. I'm 5'9 185 and a muscle fit medium is like a body glove on me. Though Rugby/Football has made me more muscular than most.

Um no one over 18 goes near a Hollister store. If you go in they hiss at you and look at you like you're some form of alien life (the feeling is mutual).

If you like high school fashion Hollister is just the thing for you, but you risk "weird sweaty old guy by the keg" syndrome.

lol, while typically no one over 18 goes into hollister, or A&F... you should really go to colorado springs, and see all the 21 year old, single soldiers getting their outfit to "hed to da club"

so, if you're not over 18, or a single soldier trying to pick up ladies... i would probably steer clear of those types of shops, unless of course, these styles are really in vogue over in Australia

Australia doesn't have AE, A&F, Hollister, Reuhl, Banana Republic, and only Melbourne and Sydney have Gap.

So being a 30 year old in teen clothing isn't too much of a problem as pretty much the only people with the clothes are those who have been overseas.

And a polo is a polo, They fit well and they look good in a variety of social situations.

What is Hollister's quality like?

Its made for teenagers. A suit it ain't.

red, im yet to see any gamers in london / manchester like that mate

nor i in my home town... come to think of it, i view myself as something of a gamer (among other things) and i generally dress in what i am comfortable in, and trench coats just arent that comfortable to me.

of course, where i grew up, its completely normal to wear a pair of shorts and a hoodie its the epitome of style, no matter the time of year
