Standing right behind you...

Wow, that's pretty good. The blue flesh really contrasted with their armour and I like how you didn't colour them the usual bright red for Khorne. Nice use of parts and ForgeWorld Bitz.

On one hand though they look nice and simple but I think you could add some pretty details to their bases to ice the cake as they look a bit plain.

really love the dried blood coloured armour rather the the arterial colour usually used.
also love the use of some of the chaos spawn bits. nice job.
what's your mix for the brass?
can't wait to see more of your army.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Nice, but what's that bright goo on the icon? If it's suppossed to be gore I'd recomend mixing red gore, chaos black and some glue and then apply.

armour colours are amazing, gives them alot of depth.
also, the blue skin tones are a great contrast to the armour, maybe a slightly lighter blue, but wicked none the less.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the comments.

I never liked the bright red usually seen on Berserkers. When my buddies and I got into 40K @ ten years ago I got Kharn the Betrayer, the GW paint scheme for him used Red Gore and Brazen Brass, I painted all of my Khorne stuff that scheme and never looked back.

I paint most of the bare faces in my CSM army blue, I think it makes them look 10,000 years old. I even gave Abaddon a blue mug.

It really sucks that GW stopped making Brazen Brass, I still have a pot left, and I plan on using a Vallejo sub when it's gone.

I'm a wash freak, The final step in almost all of my paint jobs is to cover the whole mini in a wash, my Khonre stuff gets Badab Black over everything, mainly to hide any mistakes!

A couple dozen more pics of some of my CSM army is in my Gallery. I'll be putting pics of my Daemons up there soon.
