Ok so I was dissapointed the new ork box didn't come with a WAAAGH Banner, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas how I could make one?
I was thinking of cutting appart spair big choppas but wouldn't know if there is an arm setup that would work for ths. Any suggestions would be great.
Also does anyone have an example of one on a bike?

What I did for my nob squad, was take a spar SM backpack, slice it up and made it only slightly Orky, then stuck a small "pole" in the top of it and made the WAAAGH part from plasti card. Works perfectly and looks nice

Using big choppa arms seems like a good idea. Just remove the axe head and attach any kind of pole from another plastic set. Adorn said pole with bits and pieces left over from other sets with some kind of big centre piece at the top.

Are you planning on buying a stompa or battlewagon? both og them have fairly cool looking ork 'skull n crossbones' bits (stompa one is slightly larger) add to this some brass rod, green stuff for a grip on the banner, glyph plates from spare trukk n battlewagon parts, some fine modelling chain and some thread wrapped around it to look like binding (give the thread a thin coat of super glue after tying to prevent it from unravelling), trophies from other races and voila, WAAGH banner. Alternatively you could just buy the direct only metal one, which also looks awesome.

I guess building one out of a 'uge choppa is your best bet. There are more than enough kits where you can get some sort of large Ork Glyph, but you coulds also try to get your hands on some kind of fantasy banner. If you know anyone who plays fantasy Orcs, Skaven, Ogres or Chaos, ask tkem if you can loot their bitz box.

Good advice so far, i would agree with the big choppa arms and plasticard idea. It would give you a lot of freedom without being overly complicated.

Fantasy Ork Banner or Spear arms work good as a base..

One thing to watch out for with Brass rod is that it can become a little top-heavy on plastic models, so be careful.

I used the black orc banner as the box comes with 2 banners in it, and it looks cool. If you can't get hold of a fantasy banner you could use the top bar from the trukk roll cage as the pole and the numerous extra bits to embelish it. A combination of the skull and teeth boss poles from the boyz sprue would make a good top piece and there's plenty of bits to add.
