Well, I haven’t been posting in my LatD blog for a few days. The reason is that I entered a painting contest where in the deadline was 6 days after I bought the models (whoops). So, 5 days of painting 3-5 hours a day after work, here are the results:

Honestly, I like the Commissar better than Lucius, but I think Lucius has better chance of victory since he is a more detailed and exciting model. Hope you guys enjoy. It is back to the traitor mines for me!

I am pretty proud of how the mud stipling on the boots and coat came out. I always have a tendancy to make my models look pristine, right off the power armor show room floor, which of course tends to seperate them from their bases, ruining the over all scene. I am really trying to break myself of that "It must be pretty, damnit!" fixation, and Commisar McFisty here I think is a nice start Now I just need the new IG dex!

Lucius, of course, has pristine armor *sigh*. Even though he took twice as long, I feel that I rushed him.
