Hi guys, just game from my FLGS. played 4 freakin games! wow didnt know i could do that. will post a right up soon, i gotta eat!

Here goes, First game, against Space Wolves

Fought against Ronald, He's known to be a vet at our FLGS. This is what he Brought, roughly.

2 Rune priests. (i may have the names wrong for them)
1 Wolf Captain(???)
1 squad of 12 blood claws in a crusader with a wolfpriest
3x9 blood claw squads on rhino
1x9 Greyhunters on rhinos
1x6 Grey hunters on foot
2 Predators with TL LC Sponsons HB

He deployed First, choosing to keep everything in reserve except leaving 2 Preds and a 6 man grey hunter squad.

I choose my wave for 2 heralds, a DP, 2 horror squads, Blood crushers and a flamer squad.


my placement, sorry for the dark photos, i have yet to master the art of taking pics while playing games

Ran everything and just flamed up the 6 grey hunters.



His turn he mobilizes everything and shoots at my almost everything at my one herald, killing it.


As you can see, this was in the middle or closing of 2nd turn.


well thats when i lose focus on using the camera and the pics cease, im so sorry guys they're so dark. :(

Turn 3
anyway, i kill of both preds, and surviving flamed grey hunters, he kills off the flamers. I proceed getting my army piece meal, very bad for the daemons, my lone deamon prince gets shot at then charged, but luckily i took a good number of them down. My keeper charges then is killed against bloodclaws + priest

By turn 4, my blood crushers had made it in, and had make short work of his blood claws and HQ. His last rune priest going down to my last herald.

His scouts finally show up at my back field where 2 horrors are, and he only kills 1, in my return fire i wipe them out.

My last 2 Daemon princes are shot down by the crusader and the other take down my the other Wolf HQ.

Grey hunters stay in their rhinos, i fail to kill the Crusader. And he has a super hard time taking down 5x2 crusher squads.

End Result I have 8kps he has 7.

Daemon win

2nd Game, against Henri and his space wolves.

His army, Almost very similar to Ronald's army, but he has a dread,

Wolf LORD.
+Retinue wiht Termies and power armor mixes

He gets first turn.

I ds with 2 heralds, 2 princes, Bloodletters(changed my list slightly before the game) Blood crusher squad and horrors.

And of my DS


He was afraid to go out of his transports and shoots everything on my bloodcrusher squad, down to 2 men.

My turn, i move everything forward. and got a crusher squad in. The 2 man crusher squad charges the greyhunter in the building, killing 6 of them, while they take 2 wounds in return, killing one. and they fail moral and lose another guy.


And taking pics comes to a halt.

His turn, he moves back a bit, disembarks his bloodclaws close to the heralds on chariots, his grey hunters in the rhino refusing to leave the transport and trying to shoot my chariot to no effect, his Crusader moves more than six inches shoots at one of my DPs to no effect as well.

Oh dont forget your scouts! tahts what i said, and he deploys them by the horror squad sitting at the back objective, which he obliterates. More on the asault phase, his bloodclaws charge my Herald on chariot, and my herald takes 2 wounds due to lucky saves in my part, and i deal 3. He lose but stays.

My turn, i get flamers in, a third DP, another bloodcrusher squad, (look at previous pic) Flamers land right on target on the Scouts flaming them all, my crushers set down in a building near the crusader and run.(looks at pic) and my DP prepares to assault the Vendread, ultimately killing it.

My herald supports his fellow herald, killing off more blood claws and leaving my wounded herald down to 1 wound. My DP, blows up the Vendread rolling 2 6s plus the reroll.

Basically everything is mopped up and his command squad gets charged by 5 bloodcrushers and 2 DPs, in his assault phase and i kill off his 2 remaining troops choices, and did i mention the herald on chariot with one wound survives.

I win via wipe out.

3rd Game, Eldar

His list
2x3 Guardians on foot. Scatterlaser/Starcannon
Warwalkers with Scatterlaser/starcannon
3 Vyper jetbikes Catapults/Missile Launcher

This was a 1500 list and i had
2 Grinders (naked)
2 Heralds (same 100point config)
2x3 Flamer Squads
1x8 Bloodcrushers with full upgrades
1x10 Bloodletters with Icon
2x6 Horrors

He deploys in a B line his 2 monstrous creatures on one side and i exploit it by DSing on the wayyy otherside.

I get first turn, with my 2 Flamers landing right on target completely obliterating 2 Guardian squads. My horrors land on my objective, herald landing an move+assault distance away from the seer council.

This battle went so fast it was mind boggling, he ignored the flamers going for the troops, and my flamers, destroy his vyper squad, and wipe out almost all his troops, my grinders killing off the warwalker and dire avengers. And Ultimately the 8 man bloodcrushers killing all his MCs + seer council, The heralds didnt do much

I win via wipe out.

4th Game

2k

Me vs Jess's Luna wolves (2k)
he had:
Vulkan Hestan
LRC with 6 assault termies, SS/TH
2x5 termies on DS
5x4 Tactical Marines
8 man devastators
2 Plasma Cannon 2 Multi Meltas
8 Man Devastators
2 HBs 2 Missile Launchers
Razorback with HBs

Capture and control.

He castles Up, good man. But one fatal flaw, his Las Plas tacticals are facing one side, and his devastators on the other, so i focused on the Devs and dreadnaught for this turn.

My wave is, 3 Daemon Princes, Bloodcrushers, Keeper, horror squad and flamers. I get my wave in. In a stroke of luck my flamers land right on target beside the devs, killing the devs with plasmacannons and meltas. I run everything closer and my horrors secure my objective.

His turn, He fires at my crushers killing 1, and wound the render and one normal. And kills of the flamer squad.

He charges my Crushers with a dreadnaught that would keep them there half the game.

My turn, I get my 2 heralds beside his tac squad in the other side. My 2 Princes, Assault the 1 Tactical squad and my 1 DP asaults the devastors not killing them all, my Keeper assaulting another 2. and my other prince sits idly to counter charge the assault termies. The assault phase renders all his troops gone. Crushers lose one guy and fail to do anything

His turn, he fails his DSing terminator squad. He has nothing to shoot at except My prince who has 2 wounds left. Hestan leaves the squad to assault the same prince. and his assault termies assault the DP the one in combat with the last devastator squad and smashes it to goo. and i finish up all the tac squads i was in combat with. Oh dont forget hestan, he charges my DP and deals...No wounds! and i do 2 wounds, and he passes leadership

My turn, I get my 2nd crushers close to the assault termis, my keeper cleans up all the singular combats that were left. My heralds did close to nothing, my 2 remaining DPs, Charge the Devastors, wiping them out. and the hestan fight, ends with nothing happening.

His turn. Not getting his termis in again. Nothing to shoot at, his assault termis do a vital mistake and assault my 5 man crusher squad, i kill 4 of them before they strike, killing of the last termie forcing him to those saves. Hestan Finally dies with great luck from my DP.

His landraider/Razorback move back, try to shoot but nothing happens.

My turn, knowing i coudnt get him off my objective i move back to mine cuz he still had DSing termis, his 2 termie squads finally get in quite far from my objective, he tries to shoot the horrors, with combine fire and such awesome luck on my part, i have one horror left on the objective.

My turn, Multi charge/charge. the termis, killing them. and they lose by 9, running them down through sheer saves. All he has is a land raider and a razor back at the otherside of the board and we call it.

Daemon win.

Thats it guys, sorry for the messy reports, hope you get it anyway and see how useful heralds and Beefed up DPs are. Next time il try to focus on pics more.

How do you find those khorne heralds preform in most games? Could you see a time where you would prefer the much cheaper Slaanesh herald with a similar upgrade?

Lately I find the 6 man horrors are just survivable enough, what do you think about bolt on them? To many points?

as for heralds, i'd gladly take up the chance to take slaanesh heralds given the chance.(might take em this week end) but i think fighting spacewolves and their plethora of powerweapons/fist, i tend to lean on the khorne one more often than not.

6 man horrors are great, i got the idea from a poster here. (40kenthusiast) as for bolt, i dont bother, i miss 50% of the time and my 3 DPs can do the job just fine.
