Ever get that one model that you just can't paint right, no matter how many times you try to repaint him? I'm pretty dissapointed with my second repaint of my CC GKGM, and I'll probably end up repainting him again today. It's so freaking annoying when you just can't get it right.

Unfortunetely mine was one of my favorites, Thousand Sons, I tried a pre-Heresy (red n' gold) color scheme, it didn't work out so well.

Yea I had that once. When I started an IW army a long time ago. I decided to try it a bit difference and switch the colors, so golden looking armor/silver banding......WELL I learned that painting a full suit of SM armor gold is really tuff and usually looks like poop. Needless to say that mini I tested the idea on had to be thrown out. It look terrible and gold just clumps lol

ARRRGHHH!!! I am going through this right now! I am painting a Forgeworld Void Dragon Phoenix and apparently I didn't wash it off well enough. the paint keeps rubbing off and flaking in key spots. Edges, corners, etc.

not soo much paint not sticking to a model, but it is cursed.
every time ive got ghaz out to put on the table i get stabbed -_-
happened about 5 times now, and allways by one of his horns XD

She is actually my favorite conversion of all
( even with GS too! ) thats why everytime i make
mistake painting, instead of stripping, i try to paint over it.

I think there are atleast 7 coat of paint now, and the details
are.... lol none existant on the face.

For me it would have to be the new emperors champion model, no matter what I try i cannot get it to look good with my armys colour scheme, probably because it is designed in avery different manner to the entire rest of the templar range. I think that next time I try it I might go for a Dante esque gold, that way he can look completely different from my army and I can justify it by the fact that he's the EC.

Not to much painting but the actual building part.

I still cannot get the last generation Wraithlord's headpiece to properly glue on.

And just picking up the deamon prince pokes a couple of holes in my hands. ow

Used to be any second hand cool piece that I found. Since I found out about super clean it's not nearly as frustrating anymore

The green knight. ive tried 6 or 7 times to get the leaves on the horses tabard right. I just threw him in my bits box in frustration and havent touched him in almost a year.

I was trying to highlight the skull helmet of a Chaplain 6 times to the standard i wanted, but it never ended up like i wanted it to, so the Chaplain is now resting on the bottom of the local river. Rest in pieces~

That's a little extreme don't you think?

Well, 20 minutes later i regretted it, went to the local store and bought another chaplain. Voila, curse broken!

you must be rich D: i would never be able to throw my minis away, at most use them as casualties.

I've got an ethereal that I've stripped twice, and still hate the paint job...It's that one with the raised staff, and the little orb thing in the other hand.
Not a dynamic model, and can never get a good paint job on em. Well, atleast I don't use him. Crisis suits ftw!

I do belive that all of my minis are cursed as not even one turn out proper..

Warlocks are the only squad that I've purple powered after finishing. I did a light gray color scheme with the helmets and wraithsword/singing spear color coordinated so they could be used to identify squads they were attached to. Didn't like it and plunk! into the PP container, scrubbed and primed again. Tried a darker gray with black armor and didn't like it - plunk! again. I'm going to try once more with a light blue-white and hopefully I'll be satisfied with that.
